On Friday, July 12, tragedy struck a family in Shepherd, MT when their home was destroyed by fire. Thankfully, Martha (Mardi) Conrad, her son, grandson and a young family friend were able to escape the blaze with the family dog and the clothes they were wearing. Another state away Mardi’s husband, Duane, was on the road delivering a load as an independent truck driver when he got the call that his family was safe, but their home was destroyed.

Unfortunately the insurance policy on the house had recently lapsed, so Duane and Mardi are left without financial help from traditional outside sources.

Berea Baptist Church is providing for a few days of hotel lodging and meals to help bridge the gap as the Conrad family searches for a path through this devastating event. We are a very small congregation and our resources are limited. Would you please join us in contributing to a relief fund that will help Duane and Mardi get back on their feet?

100% of all funds donated to the Conrad family will go to them. If you’d like to contribute a few dollars extra to help our fundraising partner offset their incurred financial processing fees, it is greatly appreciated, but not required.
