Read the Bible, Chronologically, in One Year
In this group, we will be reading through the Bible, chronologically, in one year, beginning February 1, 2026.
1. Click on the link below and join our Facebook Group where daily assignments are posted and group participation is encouraged.
2. You the YouVersion Bible App link below to install the free YouVersion Bible Study app on your phone or tablet and then join our daily reading group there. YouVersion also provides a “read along” option that allows you to listen to a narrator and read along.
3. If you’d rather not participate in the group, you can still download a PDF printable version of the reading plan below.
The plan that we are using is provided by the YouVersion Bible app. This is a great little app that allows you to select from a number of translations (if this is your first time through, I highly recommend The New Living Translation as it’s very easy to read and understand). Whichever translation you choose, make sure it’s one that is easy for you to read. Trying to read the King James version, because that’s the one your grandparents read, is a great homage to them, but does you no good if it doesn’t make sense to you. Remember, the goal is to make a habit of reading the Bible every day while growing your relationship with God the Father, His Son and our Savior, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.
If you would like to download a pdf copy of the reading plan to print and use offline, use the link below. Please note that this PDF has the reading assignments starting on January 1, and we are starting on February 1, so the dates on the PDF file will not match our current daily assignments.
Please feel free to invite others to join the Facebook or YouVersion reading group, but please don’t randomly add people who haven’t expressed an interest in joining the group. This is a great way for you to begin a discussion with someone who hasn’t read the Bible.
