Read the New Testament in 6 Months

 

In this group, we will be reading through the New Testament, chronologically, in 6 months.

The daily reading assignments will be posted to the group at 7PM the previous evening.

Members are encouraged to post “done” under that day’s posted assignment. You are also welcome to share a favorite verse from the reading, ask questions, make comments, etc.

 

When you post, please try to make sure you’re posting under the proper daily assignment and not starting a new post. This helps keep the group organized and becomes really important when someone falls behind and needs to find the reading assignment to catch up.

 

The plan that we are using can be found in the free “YouVersion” Bible App. (Link provided below.) This is a great little app that allows you to select from a number of translations (if this is your first time through, I highly recommend The New Living Translation as it’s very easy to read and understand). Whichever translation you choose, make sure it’s one that is easy for you to read. Trying to read the King James version, because that’s the one your grandparents read, is a great homage to them, but does you no good if it doesn’t make sense to you. Remember, the goal is to make a habit of reading the Bible every day while growing your relationship with God the Father and his Son and our Savior, Jesus Christ.
